NC State’s steady two-way guard with proven scoring punch
Ashley Key is a former NC State guard whose game was defined by toughness, efficient scoring, and reliability in big moments; in the 2005-06 season, she averaged 25.0 points, and in her NC State career she finished among the program’s all-time leaders with 1,072 points[7][9]. She was good enough to be drafted 35th overall in 2007 and later continued her career internationally, which speaks to both skill and adaptability[5][6]. If you’re valuing poise, shot creation, and a player who can carry a load without needing the spotlight, Key fits the mold nicely[1][3].
