Jess Cichowicz was a defensive-minded floor general who drove JMU’s attack
Jess Cichowicz was a high-impact JMU point guard whose game was built on distribution, pressure defense, and toughness: she finished her career as the Dukes’ all-time assists leader with 670 and also ranked second in career steals with 260, with a single-season high of 82 steals in 2002-03[3][4]. In the 2002-03 season, she averaged 6.6 points per game and was named CAA All-Defense, which tells you the value went well beyond scoring[4]. If you want a guard who can organize an offense, create turnovers, and bring steady edge every night, she’s the kind of competitor coaches trust.
