Katie Simon is North Alabama’s workhorse ace, and she’s been piling up wins
In the 2026 season, North Alabama pitcher Katie Simon has been one of the ASUN’s most reliable arms, going 12-5 with a 2.76 ERA in 114.0 innings, eight complete games, and four shutouts. Her calling card is durability with bite: she has shown she can miss bats, manage traffic, and still finish games, including a seven-inning shutout with eight strikeouts and a late-February no-hitter. The bigger-picture fit is easy—she looks like a competitive, innings-eating senior who can anchor a staff and swing a series when she’s on.
