Southern’s quietly steady interior presence
Justin Leggett is a junior defensive lineman at Southern University who also serves in a leadership role on the SAAC, which hints at maturity and team-first value beyond the box score. Available roster/athletics listings confirm his Southern status and class standing, but public stat production is limited, so the clearest read is that he’s a depth-and-culture piece rather than a headline-grabbing stat-stuffer. If you want a hard-nosed DL who brings accountability, communication, and program buy-in, Leggett looks like the kind of player coaches trust.
