Daxton Carr brings size, steadiness, and late-blooming value for Idaho State
Daxton Carr is a 6-7 forward whose best calling card is versatility: in the 2022-23 season at Idaho State, he played all 25 games with 12 starts, giving the Bengals 17.9 minutes, 3.4 points, and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 39.4% from the field. He’s not a high-usage scorer, but he gives a team length, rebound support, and a willingness to do the dirty work, plus he showed occasional pop with a 17-point college high and a buzzer-beater against Southern Utah in 2023. The fit is clear for a program needing a glue guy rather than a star.
