Long, instinctive UCF corner with proven ball production
Gowan was a disruptive UCF DB with real playmaking juice, finishing his 2020 season with 31 tackles, 2 interceptions, 8 passes broken up, and a fumble recovery while earning second-team all-conference honors from Pro Football Focus.[5] His calling card is length and ball skills — at 6-2, he has the frame to contest throws and the tape to back it up, including strong coverage production on limited targets in 2019.[1][16] The bigger question is durability and consistency, since his pro career has been slowed by injuries and limited snaps.[9][19]
