seasoned Maryland linebacker with proven run-support instincts
Oladimeji Olayinka brings experience and a compact, physical linebacker profile to Maryland, with the Terrapins’ roster listing showing he appeared in 10 games in the 2019 season and recorded four tackles, a sack, and a quarterback hit. He arrived as a well-regarded recruit, rated among Maryland’s top prospects and a national outside-linebacker standout in high school. The intrigue here is leverage and toughness: he looks like the kind of depth piece who can help on special teams and in rotational snaps, especially if a staff wants a disciplined, hard-nosed defender who understands the program.
