Tyler Tipton brings depth and special-teams value to WKU’s linebacker room
Tyler Tipton is listed as a linebacker for Western Kentucky and has appeared in 13 career games, including 5 for WKU, which signals a player trusted to contribute and survive roster churn. His value looks less like flashy box-score dominance and more like versatility, depth, and special-teams usefulness—a classic “coaches notice him” profile. The main caveat: the available public data does not show a big statistical breakout, so his fit is strongest for a team that wants a reliable, assignment-sound defender who can play hard, learn fast, and plug into multiple roles.
