Bryce Underwood brings five-star talent, real dual-threat juice, and Michigan’s 2026 QB spotlight
Underwood enters the 2026 season as Michigan’s clear starting quarterback and one of the most scrutinized young passers in college football, with coaches praising his leadership and athleticism. In his first season as a starter, he threw for 2,428 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions while adding 392 rushing yards and 6 scores, showing the arm talent, mobility, and pocket calm that made him a top recruit. The fit is strong if your team wants a high-upside playmaker who can create off-script; the question is consistency against complex defenses, not raw tools.
