Tulane’s J.D. Rodriguez brings starter’s durability and strike-throwing pedigree
Rodriguez enters Tulane with a track record of volume and competitiveness: in 2024 at Golden West College, he logged 74 innings across 20 appearances with seven starts, four wins, four saves, a 4.99 ERA and 72 strikeouts, and in 2023 he posted 69 innings, five wins and 72 strikeouts after transferring from Hawai’i.[3] His profile suggests a versatile right-hander who can work in multiple roles, while his Dean’s List/High Honor Roll background points to the kind of consistency and coachability teams value beyond the box score.[3]
