a low-usage guard-forward connector with some playmaking pop
In the **2025-26 season**, Darryl Wright has been a modest but useful piece for Mississippi Valley State, averaging **1.5 points**, **1.0 rebounds**, and **3.0 assists** while shooting **14.3% from the field**; the stat line says he is still searching for scoring rhythm, but the assist rate suggests a player who can help organize possessions and keep the ball moving.[4] At **6-5** and **202 pounds**, he brings size for a wing/forward role, and his background shows he has been trusted in competitive settings before, including a high school game where he produced a steal-and-score finish with four steals overall.[5][1]
