Jayden Wooden brings veteran instincts and playmaking pop to Morgan State’s secondary
In the 2022 season, Jayden Wooden started every game for Morgan State and posted 45 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and an interception return for 12 yards, signaling a dependable safety with real ball skills.[2] He also earned all-academic and third-team All-MEAC recognition, which lines up with reports that he made an immediate impact and stood out for consistency, composure, and buying into a stronger program culture under the new staff.[2][5][15] If you want a safety who can stabilize the back end, communicate well, and flash turnover ability, Wooden looks like a smart, high-floor fit rather than a pure highlight-chaser.[2][15]
