SMU WR Cole Loftin: a depth piece with proven program familiarity
Cole Loftin is a familiar SMU receiver whose value is more about *fit* and football IQ than flashy production: SMU’s roster bio shows he saw game action in four games as a junior and was on the roster in 2010-11, while 247Sports lists him as an Aledo, Texas product committed to the Mustangs.[3][1] Because the available sources do not provide recent stat lines or advanced metrics, the clearest takeaway is that he profiles as a system-conscious, lower-variance option rather than a headline target—useful for teams that want reliability, development, and someone who already understands the culture.[3][1]
