a quiet-leader guard who can score, pass, and steady Stetson
JoAnn Smith has built a reputation as a pass-first point guard with real scoring punch; in her Stetson career, she averaged 8.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 36.7% from the field and 35.2% from three. Stetson described her as a “true point guard” with good court awareness, tenacity, and a quiet-leader presence, plus enough shot-making to keep defenses honest. She looks like a fit for a team that values control, toughness, and balanced guard play over pure volume scoring.
