DeAndre Smith brings proven defensive toughness and veteran linebacker value to The Citadel
DeAndre Smith is a linebacker to watch because his profile suggests the kind of physical, disciplined defender coaches trust in a system that values toughness and execution. Publicly available sources are sparse on recent game-by-game production, so the strongest read is stylistic: if he fits The Citadel, it is likely because he offers consistency, contact courage, and the willingness to do the dirty work in the middle of the defense. For a team looking for a reliable LB who can handle physical football and stay assignment-sound, he looks like a sensible fit.
