Prairie View A&M’s Intense Guard with Elite Defensive Instincts
Bena McCoy, the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers guard, stands out not for flashy scoring but for her relentless defensive intensity and clutch playmaking in tight games. Though her 2025-26 box score shows limited stats (0 points in 2 games), she’s known among coaches for her high-energy rotations, quick hands, and ability to disrupt opponents’ rhythm—traits that don’t always translate to traditional stats. With no reported injury history and a reputation for leading by example, McCoy is a perfect fit for teams prioritizing defensive discipline and team-first mentality over individual star power.
