a leader-first, steady DB who wins with reliability and toughness
Mike Palmer is the kind of Boston College defensive back coaches trust: an experienced, physical, assignment-sound player who earned the Jay McGillis Scholarship Award for leadership and competitive spirit. In his BC career, he totaled 158 tackles and 4 interceptions, including a standout 2021 run as a three-year starter and team captain. He’s not a flashy combine-type athlete, but his value is in consistency, toughness, and credibility in the secondary—exactly the kind of fit a defense wants when it needs a dependable veteran who sets the tone.
