Tommy Vellacott adds backcourt grit to UNC Asheville
Tommy Vellacott is a UNC Asheville guard whose value appears to be in steady, low-drama backcourt play rather than flashy volume scoring; the most reliable public stat context currently available from the team’s 2025-26 stat pages points more to the Bulldogs’ broader offensive profile than to a standout individual leaderboard, so the best read is a player fit for a team that wants toughness, composure, and role acceptance. If your roster needs a guard who can blend into a system, compete possession-to-possession, and bring energy without needing the spotlight, that’s the vibe.
