Ezinne Mbamalu brings size, rebounding grit, and interior utility to NCCU
Ezinne Mbamalu is a 6-foot-2 forward/center for North Carolina Central whose value has always started with physicality: in her college career, she showed rebounding chops, shot-blocking instincts, and a paint-first game that can tilt a second unit. Her earlier college track record at Winthrop included 4.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in the 2015-16 season, while NCCU’s official notes describe her as part of the interior height boost for the Eagles. She looks like a low-maintenance, high-effort frontcourt piece—useful if a team wants toughness, rim presence, and dirty-work minutes over flash.
