a proven, high-activity Citadel defensive back
Wilson Hendricks III has already shown he can be a volume tackler and turnover creator for The Citadel, appearing in all 11 games in 2023 with 69 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. That production suggests a physical, assignment-sound DB who plays with urgency and is around the ball often, which matters for teams looking for reliability and playmaking in the secondary. His earlier high school resume also shows strong two-way impact and steady production, making him a fit for a defense that values toughness, consistency, and a willingness to do the dirty work.[3][1]
