Delvin Thompson gives Alcorn State a proven scoring guard with range and disruptive defense
In the 2024-25 season, Delvin Thompson has been a steady two-way guard for Alcorn State, averaging 15.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 42.7% from the field; he also posted a 30-point, 7-rebound, 3-steal game against Alabama A&M, showing he can swing a game on both ends. His differentiator is that he brings more than bucket-getting: reliable perimeter pressure, active hands, and enough physicality to impact the glass. If you want a competitive guard who can create offense and fit a high-energy system, he’s a strong fit.[3][2][6]
