Al Hern brings trench-value stability to a Drake front that has powered PFL success
Hern is an **offensive lineman** for Drake, a program that has been competing at the top of the Pioneer Football League, including a 2024 season in which the Bulldogs went 8-3 overall and 7-1 in conference play. His value is mostly in the invisible stuff that wins games: protecting the quarterback, creating run lanes, and helping an offense stay on schedule rather than chasing highlight-reel stats. For a team, he projects as a fit if you want a dependable, physical interior presence with proven experience in a winning system.[5][8][6]
