a high-motor linebacker with upside for Western Michigan
Kasey Carson is listed by ESPN as a Western Michigan linebacker, but the available public results are thin on verified college production, so the safest read is that he’s a developmental defender to watch rather than a proven stat-sheet star. What stands out in the background information is the positional fit: linebackers who stick usually bring toughness, pursuit speed, and special-teams value, and Carson’s profile suggests he’s in that mold. If you’re evaluating fit, think depth piece with room to grow—more about energy, contact, and coachability than headline numbers right now.
