Jerrell Wedge brings disruptive, every-down linebacker value to Miami (OH)
Wedge stands out as a physical, assignment-sound **linebacker** whose value goes beyond box-score tackles: Miami (OH)’s defense has leaned on LB production, and the program’s recent stat pages show the position remains a core engine for the RedHawks’ run defense and overall consistency[1][2]. He profiles as the kind of fit coaches like for his toughness, reliability, and ability to handle contact in traffic, making him appealing for a team that wants a steady, hard-nosed defender rather than a high-variance playmaker[1][2].
