Elite CUSA Catcher Dominating 2026 with Power & Consistency
Savannah Jessee, Liberty’s redshirt junior catcher, is a 2026 CUSA Player of the Week who batted .600 (9-for-15) in four games with 7 RBI and a .309 season average, 10 HR, and 38 RBI—ranking among the nation’s top power-hitting catchers. Her 5’9”, 180-lb frame, 1.67 pop time, and 70 mph throw velocity make her defensively elite, while her intensity and resilience (never letting injury keep her off the field) define her leadership. With 57 starts in 57 games in 2026 and a .990 OPS, she’s a high-fit, battle-tested anchor for any team seeking a catcher who brings power, consistency, and grit.
