Cal’s Elite DE with Army Grit, but Check the Team Fit
There is a critical mismatch in your query: the prominent DE named Andre Carter (often Andre Carter II) is a 2024 NFL draft pick who played college football for **Army**, not the California Golden Bears, and is currently an active NFL Defensive End for the Washington Commanders (formerly Las Vegas Raiders) [2][5]. The California Golden Bears do not have a notable DE named Andre Carter in recent records; the only Cal athlete with that name in search results is a different individual or a data error [4]. If you are looking for the elite NFL prospect Andre Carter II, his differentiators include his **6'6", 256 lbs** frame, **Army Black Knights** discipline, and high-intensity **DE** play that made him a top draft pick [2]. He is a **good fit** for teams needing a physical, disciplined edge rusher with a proven track record of intensity, but he is **not** a Cal player. If you specifically need a Cal Golden Bear DE, you may need to verify the player's name, as no prominent Andre Carter exists on that roster.
