veteran Wolf Pack linebacker with a proven Nevada pedigree
Alec Bonsall is a longtime Nevada linebacker whose value goes beyond box-score production: the Wolf Pack profile shows he was a 6-1, 235-pound junior listed on the 2018 roster, and Nevada’s athletic department notes he spent two seasons at linebacker for the program[1][2]. That gives him the kind of in-house familiarity coaches love—steady, assignment-sound, and likely comfortable in the scheme rather than being a flashy headline grabber. If you want a defender with program DNA, toughness, and experience around the room, Bonsall fits the “trust him in the building” mold[1][2].
