Walker Brodt is a trusted high-leverage righty who earned Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week honors in 2025
Brodt has shown real value as a bullpen weapon for Winthrop, highlighted by his 2025 Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week award after 5.1 innings with 9 strikeouts and just 3 hits allowed across two outings, and he followed that with a 2026 season that included 30 appearances and 44.0 innings of work. His pitchability, strike-throwing, and ability to handle multi-inning relief make him more than a stat line; he brings toughness and flexibility in pressure spots. If you need a dependable arm who can neutralize innings and fit late-game leverage, he’s a solid fit.
