Corpus Christi guard with local roots and backcourt upside
Sarah Alva is a 5-foot-10 guard from Corpus Christi who brings a local connection and a wingspan-friendly frame to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi’s backcourt. Publicly available roster and historical game-log data confirm her as a guard for the Islanders, but there isn’t enough current season stat detail in the available sources to fairly claim a hot streak or specific statistical breakout. What stands out is the fit: a hometown player with size for the position, which can translate into versatile perimeter defense and toughness if her role is expanding.
