Quick Guard, Playmaking Upside, and a Proven Scoring Base
Kaela Dothard, a Hartford guard, showed a solid all-around freshman profile in the 2019-20 season, producing 3.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 20.0% from the field per ESPN. Earlier at St. Mary’s Ryken in 2018-19, she averaged 9.6 points and 2.3 assists per game, and MaxPreps lists her at 3.4 assists per game at King’s Christian Academy, hinting at real lead-guard instincts. She looks like a fit for teams needing a guard who can organize offense, create for others, and bring competitive energy.
