Mississippi Valley State DB with Limited Spotlight in 2018
Scipio Staten, a defensive back for the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils, logged minimal action in the 2018 season and a single tackle in a 2017 matchup against NDSU, marking him as a low-volume FCS contributor without standout stats or recent updates as of 2026. His differentiator is raw athletic potential from a smaller program, but lack of production, leadership buzz, or injury narratives makes him a high-risk, developmental prospect—not an immediate fit for Power 5 rosters unless seeking budget depth.
