low-usage Coppin State guard still fighting for a bigger role
Coppin State freshman guard Chuckie Ivey has been a limited offensive contributor so far, averaging 1.4 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.5 assists while shooting 14.7% from the field, but his value is still more about developmental upside than box-score production.[4][6] At 6-foot-2 and listed as a guard from Fairfax, Va., he brings a workable frame for the backcourt and the kind of freshman-year growth curve that can matter if you want a long-term project rather than an immediate stat-stuffer.[6]
