Jess Genco was a record-setting, high-IQ Northeastern floor general
Jess Genco was one of Northeastern’s most decorated guards, finishing her Huskies career with 1,567 points, 548 assists, and 298 made threes, while earning two All-CAA First Team selections and team captaincy for three seasons[2][3]. In the 2018-19 season, she led Northeastern in scoring at 17.5 points per game and also paced the team with 4.5 assists per game, a blend of shot-making, playmaking, and late-game poise that made her the engine of the offense[2]. Her calling card was toughness and consistency: she played heavy minutes, handled pressure, and turned an “unheralded recruit” label into a star-level career[1][3].
