veteran App State DB with proven ball skills
Rodger Walker is a seasoned Appalachian State defensive back whose profile points to reliable coverage instincts and veteran steadiness rather than flashy counting stats. App State’s roster and player pages list him as a DB/cornerback, and his earlier college notes show he had already flashed playmaking ability with multiple interceptions in prior seasons, which is the kind of résumé that earns trust in a secondary. If you need a disciplined, experienced defensive back who understands leverage, can help in tight coverage, and brings a mature presence to the room, he looks like a sensible fit.
