the Huskies’ sharpshooting glue guard
Kortney Drake’s calling card is floor-spacing: in the 2023–24 season, she played 31 games, started 27, and hit 35 threes at a 32.1% clip while giving Northern Illinois 4.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. She’s a useful fit for teams that need a steady, experienced guard who can stretch defenses, and NIU highlighted her work ethic and role as depth at the guard spot after she helped Kirkwood win the 2022 NJCAA Division II national title. She’s not a high-usage star, but she brings winning habits, shooting gravity, and tough-role-player energy.
