Isaiah Norman brings veteran range and playmaking history to Marshall’s secondary
Norman is a sixth-year safety for Marshall with proven ball skills and toughness, built on a career that included 137 tackles, 13 passes defended, 5.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery across 42 games before joining the Herd.[7] He also showed true turnover knack at Austin Peay, including back-to-back interceptions in 2021 and a pick-six, which suggests he can trigger quickly and make offenses pay for mistakes.[5][7] The main appeal is a seasoned, multi-positional defensive back who brings experience, competitive intensity, and special-teams/coverage value rather than pure stat-sheet flash.[7]
