Joe Douglas III brings size, motor, and edge-pressure upside to Northern Colorado
Joe Douglas III profiles as a developmental edge defender for the 2026 Northern Colorado Bears, with current roster data showing him on the 2026 team and listed as a DE.[1][5] The appeal is straightforward: he’s the kind of defensive end coaches love to keep around because of effort, length, and a disruptive mentality more than empty-calorie counting stats; that said, publicly available stat lines are thin right now, so the true read is in the tape and the trait package rather than box-score noise.[1] If your team wants a high-motor, physically intriguing edge who may still be climbing the production ladder, he’s worth a closer look—just don’t expect a finished product yet.[1]
