Nic Harris is a high-upside righty with polish, not just velocity
In 2025, Nic Harris made eight appearances as a freshman for Elon, and by 2026 he was listed as a sophomore right-handed pitcher at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, with a clean, projectable frame that scouts tend to like[1][4]. He entered Elon with strong prep credentials, including a 1.69 ERA as a junior at Charlotte Christian and a ranking from Prep Baseball Report and Perfect Game, which points to real arm talent[3]. He also showed up in a no-runs three-inning freshman bullpen group against North Carolina, hinting at early trust from the staff[10]. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a developing strike-throwing power arm with upside, not a finished product[1][3][10].
