Leandra King brings Marshall a classic rim-protecting center with real Conference USA value
Leandra King has been a defensive anchor for Marshall, playing in 27 games and starting six while leading the team with 36 blocks and ranking sixth in Conference USA at 1.3 blocks per game in her most recent season cited by Marshall. That kind of paint protection is a real differentiator for a roster that needs a physical, low-mistake interior presence; if you want a center who can alter shots, defend the rim, and accept a role without needing the offense run through her, King is a strong fit.
