Alex Hays is still a name to watch on Wyoming’s edge, but current public stat data is thin
Public 2026 game log and impact stats for Wyoming DE Alex Hays are limited, so the best read is that he’s being tracked more for projection than production right now. The Cowboys’ 2026 roster lists multiple edge defenders, and Hays’ value would hinge on whether he can translate effort, length, and pass-rush upside into consistent disruption. If your team wants a developmental defensive end with room to grow, he’s interesting; if you need a proven, numbers-heavy instant producer, the evidence isn’t there yet.
