developmental linebacker with hands-on technique upside
Gary Onuekwusi looks like a **skill-development linebacker** rather than a stats-first headline grabber, with outside praise for his hands-on training and teaching in the linebacker role suggesting strong football IQ and coachability.[1] The clearest differentiator in the available material is his apparent emphasis on technique and positional fundamentals, which can translate well for a team that values disciplined play and rapid learning.[1] Based on the limited public information here, he reads as a fit for programs wanting a high-upside LB who can grow into a role through structure, reps, and coaching rather than immediate flash.[1][2]
