Jack Thompson brings veteran touch and power to NM State’s kicking game
Jack Thompson’s value is his proven leg and clean ball-striking; after four years with New Mexico State, he was described by a teammate as an “elite ball striker” with “incredible power,” which points to consistency and range that matter in close games.[2] Official roster and ESPN listings confirm he is the Aggies’ place kicker, but the available sources do not provide recent game-by-game stats, so his current on-field production is harder to quantify from public data alone.[4][5] He looks like a fit for teams that want a dependable, experienced specialist with a strong leg more than a flashy stat line.[2][4][5]
