Brandon Watkins brings early-career depth to Eastern Michigan’s linebacker room
Watkins is listed as an Eastern Michigan linebacker and has recorded 5 solo tackles with no sacks, forced fumbles, or interceptions in ESPN’s current stat line, suggesting a reserve or rotational role rather than a headline-grabbing production profile. His value is likely tied to reliability, effort, and special-teams usefulness more than splash plays, which can make him a fit for a team that wants a steady, developmental defender who can handle assignments and add depth without demanding the ball.
