Coastal Carolina’s Derambez Drinkard: veteran corner with special-teams value and early-career splash potential
Drinkard is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound cornerback from Blythewood, S.C., listed on Coastal Carolina’s roster with game action as a redshirt sophomore and special-teams duty, but public stat lines are sparse, so his value is more about role, experience, and trajectory than box-score volume[1]. The cleanest takeaway: he looks like a depth-and-development DB who can help on coverage units now and compete for more defensive snaps if his technique and physicality keep trending up[1][2].
