Penn State’s name is on the jersey, but the public track record is thin
Ed Johnson is not showing up in current public Penn State player coverage as an active 2026 contributor, and the most concrete widely available information is his older Penn State history rather than present-day production. That means there isn’t enough reliable season-by-season 2026 stat data here to make a clean performance case; the big takeaway is that any evaluation of him as a fit for a roster needs fresh game film, current roster status, and health/availability context before leaning on name value or legacy alone.
