LJ Smith brings steady infield depth to Central Arkansas
LJ Smith is a 2026 sophomore infielder for Central Arkansas, but the public stat sheet does not yet show season statistics, so the evaluation has to lean more on role and profile than production. At 5'4", Smith projects as a compact, depth-oriented middle-infield option who can help a roster with reliability, mobility, and defensive versatility rather than headline numbers. The main question for a team is upside versus certainty: she looks like a fit for programs valuing coachability, stability, and everyday detail work, but there is not enough publicly available performance data yet to judge current impact.
