Reliable, hard-nosed NMSU linebacker with a track record of production
Clint Barnard has the look of a dependable, tone-setting linebacker: in the 2014 season he played in 11 games for New Mexico State, made one start, and posted 28 tackles plus an interception and a tackle for loss, while team notes also credit him as a leader on the field and in the classroom. He brings steady tackling, physicality, and proven instincts more than flash, which makes him appealing for teams that want a smart, accountable defender who shows up consistently and fits a culture built on effort and toughness.
