Allen Smith brings proven edge-setting toughness from Wofford’s playoff-era defense
Allen Smith is a former Wofford defensive end whose profile is built on production, motor, and big-play disruption: in high school he posted 92 tackles, 11 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, nine blocked kicks and three forced fumbles in a single season, and at Wofford he helped anchor teams that reached four straight FCS playoffs and multiple SoCon title runs. His value is less about raw measurables and more about effort, consistency, and winning habits—traits that translate well for a program needing a dependable, physical defensive-line presence.
