Cody Hopkins brings ball-hawking production and downhill toughness to Stetson’s secondary
Hopkins profiles as a **playmaking DB** who already showed legitimate takeaway skills in high school, posting **six interceptions**, **eight pass breakups**, and **37 tackles** in his senior season while helping his team to a **10-2 record**. Those numbers point to a defender with strong instincts, good route recognition, and the confidence to attack the football rather than just react to it. For a team, that makes him interesting as a secondary piece who can turn coverage into turnovers — a valuable fit if you want an aggressive, instinctive defensive back with proven disruption skills.
