veteran JMU guard with a steady all-around floor game
Lewis Lampley is a 6-3 guard for James Madison with a proven reputation as a steady, versatile backcourt piece rather than a flashy volume scorer; his listed profile and team stats point to a player who contributes across the board and fits a disciplined system[1][6]. In the 2025-26 season, James Madison’s stats page shows Paul Lewis as a rotation guard, which suggests the Dukes’ current guard room is built around experienced, low-drama play and reliable decision-making[4][11]. The big draw here is fit: Lampley-type guards usually help teams by handling the ball, defending, and keeping the offense organized without forcing the issue—a useful glue-guy profile if you want control more than chaos[6].
